    Animal Communication FAQs

Please reach us at roslyn@animal.love or steve@animal.love if you cannot find an answer to your question.

There are a lot of Animal Communicators out there, and many people try to help others connect with their animal in kindness or as a hobby. There are also those who just guess and use their logical brain rather than asking the animal. Trisha McCagh offers a course on Animal Communication at Animal Talk where upon completion you may pursue the assessment and certification process. To attain the certification, Trisha ensures practitioners "have been through a rigorous training program of advanced knowledge techniques and methodologies". Through annual registration, practitioners continue further development each and every year to maintain their highest level of achievement and to soar to higher states of advancement.

You may have questions that are related to a specific behaviour which you would like to understand. Some questions you may want to ask:

Why are you doing [specific behaviour]?

What is causing you to do this specific behaviour?

What makes this behaviour worse, and what makes it better?
How does it make you feel when [specific situation]?

You might just want to check in on their physical and emotional well-being. Some questions you may want to ask:

Are you in any physical pain or discomfort right now?

Is there something you need me to know about your health?

What could I change in your diet?

What can I do to make you feel more safe?

How are you adjusting to your new environment?

You may want to ask some questions about your relationship with your animal friend:

What do you need in order to make you feel more relaxed?

Is there anything that I do that makes you uncomfortable or frustrated?

What brings you joy in life?

You may have just rehomed an animal? Amazing! Here are some questions you may want to ask your new friend:

What was life like before we met?

Is there any trauma from your past I can help you with?

What could help you trust me more?

You could finish off the session with an open-ended question, for example:

Is there anything you want me to know that I haven't asked about?

Do you have any messages for me?

A Medical Intuitive Consultation is to complement veterinary care, not replace it. Before we get onto questions during the consultation, we will do an intuitive scan over the entire body and sense if we can pick up something that may need attention. Then we ask the animal several questions on what we're sensing. By now, some of your questions may already have been answered. Here are some specific example questions you may want to ask:

Is the medication or supplement working for you?

Do you want to continue this treatment or do you want to see what else might be available?

What food is not agreeing with you?

What activities are supporting your health, or working against your health?

Important: If you believe your animal needs emergency care, please call your vet. Medical Intuitive Consultations can offer you preventative guidance. We are not vets and do not diagnose.

You can ask your animal about their life and their relationship with you. Feel what comes through your heart and write down those questions. Here are some examples below:

    What did you teach me/us?

What did you learn from me/us?

What did you love most about being with me/us?

What was your favourite activity we did together?

Is there a particular thing or place that reminds you of me/us?

What did you think of the other animals in our family?

Generally, animals don't like to talk about their passing because in their opinion it is such a minor part of their life. They want you to remember the good times. Below are some questions you may want to ask about their passing:

How did you feel when you transitioned?

Are you with other animals or people I know?

How do I know when you are visiting me/us?

Your animal friend may have messages or guidance for you. You may want to ask some of the following questions:

Is there anything I can do to help other animals who are grieving your loss?

Do you have any signs you can send me to let me know you are near?

Are there any changes I should make in my life?

Do you have any messages or guidance for me/us?

You can ask any questions from the heart. Try to avoid simple yes/no questions, think of something more open-ended so the animal can share what's on their mind. Approach the session with an open mind and an open heart.

There is no need to think of questions for a soul purpose consultation. We generally ask the same five questions to your animal companion, these include:

    1.       What is your animal companion’s life purpose?

    2.       What is your life purpose?

    3.       Why did your animal come in this form?

    4.       What is your life purpose together?

    5.       What is some advice that your animal companion would like to share with you?

There are several ways that information is shared during a communication session. The information from an animal is a very high frequency, so we always approach the session with unconditional love and compassion. The energy is also very subtle, so it is quite an art to pick up on the detail they're willing to communicate with us. There is no thinking involved when listening to the animal. It is not our thought, our understanding, or our point of view. When the animal speaks, it is like a conversation we have with people. It is called telepathy, and it bridges time and space. We get their point of view. We hear and sense their personalities. We listen. We also intuitively pick up on their emotional state, or any physical discomforts. Modern day science is slowly acknowledging these forms of communication. It's a very exciting time to be alive.

A relatively recent picture of your animal companion would be fabulous for the consultation. One picture is sufficient, however feel free to upload about 3 photos if you're not sure what's suitable. Generally speaking, make sure of the following:
    - their entire body is on the photo, not just their head

    - they don't have to look at the camera but please do include their face in the photo
    - a photo of their entire body from the side helps

For an afterlife consultation, please provide a picture of your animal companion doing something they enjoyed or simply a photo of them you really like.
